88 Days - Power? We dont need no stinkin power.

First I would like to say that I miss my wife so bad. I feel terrible that we couldnt talk last night. Its tricky if i have to go to bed early or if she wants to talk later. Anyway honey, I love you.

Back to work today. We started early, left the hotel at 7:45am. It was frigid outside. You can see your breath. I was excited again today about lunch. Our boss said that its so cheap she wants to collect at the end of the week, instead of us giving her change everyday. So she ordered me the black pepper fried rice.

We went into our building and I started working on the control racks while Mclane and James got ready to hoist the first batch into place. I came outside and started filming the process. Just as they were inches from the top the power went out and everything went black. What a perfect time for the power to go out. The security officers ran and got the flashlights.

We then packed up our tools since we heard that the power wont be back on until 6pm. We went back to the field office and ate our lunch.. Its so yummy. Yag (my boss) even said it was too spicy for her. I am not a fan of the red and yellow peppers, but I think they are good for me so I eat them anyways.

We then get a call that the power is back on. We spent 30 minutes packing up and locking up our tools. So we went back to work. Mclane and James got the second batch secured and hanging properly. We also found out that the power wont be on tomorrow morning. I guess they rescheduled this work from today 1-5pm to tomorrow 8am-1pm.

I continued to load up the control rack and even was able to get the electricians to turn on the power. Their idea of lockout/tagout on the circuits they are working on is to put clear tape over the breakers to keep those circuits off. Pretty crude.

We took the subway back to the hotel and it was frigid outside. I decided I would venture out and see if I could find some detergent for the laundry machine. I went to Watsons which in Macau probably would have had what I needed. I went to the one in the big mall in peoples square. Sadly it was filled up with cosmetics. I went into the mall, hoping there would be some sortof supermarket, which there wasnt. I even went up to the appliance area, but there was no detergent to be found. Lastly, I went back downstairs to the food area and got some sushi and a pastry. The sushi was ok, sorta like supermarket sushi. The pastry, smelled good, but had this purple pasty stuff inside. It didnt have much flavor. I should have taken a picture of it. It looked better than it tasted.

Tomorrow I go back to the toolarea and get me some tools that I need. We are going to expense them, so I can continue my work. I cant do anything more without some tools.

Thats it for today.
