77 Days - Frigid

So today its freezing outside. Very very cold. My teeth were chattering and my nose was running, dripping all over the keyboard. I was in the control room which was probably 5 degrees warmer. Good news times two today. We got the entire array to run its home sequence. The other piece of good news is that my mac tower finally got released from customs and its delivered in my room. It took 3 days to get it over to china and 2 weeks once it was here plus 1500 dollars US to get it cleared. There was some ceremony that Mclane attended and got his pic taken with the group and drank some milk or something. Very strange. There is a lot more fireworks going off in the streets and tomorrow its supposed to be insane. They gave us these cartons of yogurt plus this big bag of new years treats, which consisted of many types of dried mushrooms and some nuts. All very weird stuff. I didnt like either gifts, but james took them and is going to try all. We left early at about 3pm. I was very cold. Yagura brought us burger king. Me and Mclane like burger king so we knew exactly what we wanted. Mclane wanted the chicken tenders and I wanted my plain whopper. What I got and what I asked for were not really the same. I have seen these spicy whoppers on the menu before but I just dont want to ruin a good thing. I ended up with a spicy whopper with just about everything on it. I scraped off all the useless veggies and nasty condiments (mayo and mustard). I usually do put ketchup on it just nothing else. So it had this sauce that looked like thin barbeque sauce. It was the spicy sauce. I actually have to say it wasnt that bad. But it really did cover up the flavor of the meat that I like so much.

I will try to get some video of the fireworks going on here. Its really amazing that they just light them off anywhere. Even between the skyscrapers, middle of traffic, wherever. Chinese new years will be interesting tomorrow.
